It’s finally here. FINALLY. The cover reveal for Earth’s End. I’ve been sitting on this one for about three weeks now and it’s basically torture to keep Merilliza Chan‘s astounding artwork under wraps. Earth’s End (Out February 11th, 2016) will continue Vhalla’s journey directly following Fire Falling (Out November 19th, 2015).
But I’m not going to blab on. You came here for one thing…
The reveal of the Earth’s End cover. So, without further stalling….
A woman awoken in air, a soldier forged by fire, a weapon risen from blood.
Vhalla Yarl has made it to the warfront in the North. Forged by blood and fire, she has steeled her heart for the final battle of the Solaris Empire’s conquest. The choices before Vhalla are no longer servitude or freedom, they are servitude or death. The stakes have never been higher as the Emperor maintains his iron grip on her fate, holding everything Vhalla still has left to lose in the balance.
I basically love everything about this cover. There are so many subtle nods to where Vhalla is by this point in the series, literally and figuratively. Just glancing at the cover I can see so many tokens and symbols that play such an important role for Vhalla and her character.
