I am ready! Anybody who reads your work, blog, or connects with you through social media cannot help but see how passionate and dedicated you are to your work, as well as to your fans. It would be a mistake not continue this adventure with you! I am excited for your upcoming book Crystal Crowned in July, and now I am even more excited for your new series The Alchemists of Loom coming in January! Its admirable how you stick to what you believe in! Congratulations Ms. Kova, on this new chapter of your journey!!! 🙂

“The second, is that I hope many readers of Air Awakens will still take a chance on The Alchemists of Loom. While I agree with my editor’s assessment, it’s not young adult. I also agree that it’s an adult crossover, meaning that it can and will appeal to avid young adult readers.”

I’m certainly not thrown off by the fact that this series is not young adult. In my library one of our adult book groups read The Book Thief. There are some books, regardless of intended audience, that are able to appeal to all age groups. I truly look forward to reading this series 🙂

There is nothing wrong with the fact that you’ve written a series for a more ‘mature’ audience. And like a previous comment, there are books like that, that appeal to all age groups. Branch out! Who knows what other audiences The Alchemists of Loom might bring you. 😀 <3

You’ve absolutely made the right choice here. Your dedication to the story and your characters is the reason we all love you so much. Personally, I couldn’t be more excited to see where you’ll take an adult fantasy story. Your work is awesome and I can’t wait to learn more about this new story and world. Keep up the inspiring work, Elise! 🙂

I would NOT have it any other way. Forcing a story to fit something it’s not would be a poor story indeed. So proud of you for following the story you’ve created, regardless of the placement it has in the world of books.
Young Adult/Teen is one of my passions- to read, to sell, but High Fantasy has been my favorite since I was 9 and my fall back when I can’t find anything else to read! Can’t wait to watch this unfold and get my hands on it once it’s out!!! <3
